![]() ![]() Please do so or at least give us correct "window resolutions". Now this resolution thing would be extremely easy to fix for CCP/Transgaming, in my experience. This way you still have the nasty Eve title bar, but at least you won't lose anything displayed at the bottom of the screen. Now make sure you NEVER switch to that resolution on your Mac, you use this only as the resolution for Eve in the ESC menu of Eve. Simply take your fullscreen native resolution, substract the 21+19 pixels from the sreen height and you are fine. So you need to use a third party tool (like SwitchResX) to setup a custom resolution for your Mac. Why in god's name CCP/Transgaming cannot adjust the window size by themselves is beyond me. Which makes you loose 21 Pixels from the Menu Bar and about 19 pixels from the Eve Title Bar. Now what is the most bad thing about Windowed Mode is that there is no "Fixed Window Mode" like on the Windows Client. So if you plan to switch apps while playing -> Go Windowed Mode. (As long as you never switch out of full screen mode you are OK) I have the system debugger and several memory watch tools running and something within Cider (my guess) is not really working well with the OS X calls when in full screen mode and switching apps. Running Eve in Fullscreen will make considerably more problems than running Eve in Windowed Mode. Ok I have some observations that I would like to share with my fellow Macians.įirst I have only tested this on one system (my mac).
